Organizational Change Management is more than providing users with training documentation and a quick walk through of an application or process.  It requires end to end thinking of how a new process or system will impact an organization and how best to provide the support to prepare those impacted.  Successful adoption of a new process or system is best considered at the outset of a project; as Business Analysts, we advocate at the outset of a project for the end user and customer impact to be considered.

Projects don't get completed on their own steam. They require someone to provide guidance and governance.   They require someone with the ability to get things done in an environment where typically there are many conflicting priorities of people, project scope, budget, and timeline. Gathering and documenting requirements is more than meeting with stakeholders and creating Business Requirements Documents.  It is developing relationships with people across the organization, building trust, and truly understanding what all stakeholders require in order to make their projects successful.  As Business Analysts, we take on this role looking at every person we interact with as a customer, to ensure their requirements are understood and decipherable by all involved; Solution Design, Testing, Implementation, Training, Change Management..

Jason Prine, our Founder and Lead Consultant, has been working in the community as a Part-time Lecturer at Sheridan College & OntarioLearn since 2015.  Jason teaches various courses within the Sheridan College Business Analysis Certificate program.

Jason believes in giving back to his community through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and creating a methodology for new Business Analysts to think "Customer First" and to ensure they are supporting their project and organization by implementing “Responsible Memory Making”.
